Caroline Pétrement

Artist, Aerialist

Born in France, Caroline arrived in Canada at an early age.

Young Caroline’s athletic skills made her stand out in various sports, including alpine skiing, water skiing and swimming. Her late discovery of the circus arts, most particularly aerial arts, allowed her to finally realize her full potential. During her training in acrobatics, she studied at HEC Montréal, where she developed an interest in the internal operations of leading companies in the circus arts. After a meeting with coach Viktor Fomin, her passion turned into a career. Since then, she has been able to perform all around the world in various disciplines like aerial silk, trapeze and aerial straps.

With the entertainment world craving for innovation, Caroline brought new disciplines to the stage, like aerial cocoon and aerial sphere. In order to give free reins to her imagination, she also worked as an artistic director on various special events, which led her to produce her first show – “Les pieds dans les plats” – a dinner and show concept taken up by production company Cirqueting. Caroline currently plays the role of Red, l’éveilleuse on “Les Fantastix” (2016).
